This song was inspired by my trip to Hawaii this past June. I’m thrilled to have my good friend, Aaron Bates playing guitar on the track. I’ve known Aaron for probably 20 years and performed with him once at the Southgate House Revival (he accompanied Deja Vuey for two songs at the “To the Faithful Departed – Tribute to the Cranberries Benefit” in 2018) but this is the first time we’ve recorded music together.
