Last weekend I competed in the Chicago Bacon Takedown at Lincoln Hall with my Green Chalkboard co-conspirator, Mandy.
We won the Judges’ Choice 2nd Place award for our Bacon Caramel “Apples”! Our prizes were a 10″ Anolon Chef Clad skillet, a Microplane ribbon grater and a Wüsthof paring knife. Plus, we have lots of leftover bacon.
