2009 in Review

Has there ever been a boring year? 2009 was pretty interesting. I went to the Cannes Film Festival, recorded an album with Koala Fires, worked on a some new short films (Score That Date, A Wake, Drive Me to the Center, Questionable Taste) and spent time in Dallas, New Orleans, Austin, Miami, Chicago, Paris, San Diego and L.A.

I started using this blog about halfway through the year, mostly using it to document creative projects that I’m somehow involved in. Most of the time it’s not about my life outside of making things but I thought it’d share a few personal highlights from 2009.

I take a lot of pictures—I uploaded over 2,000 to Flickr in 2009. You can see my favorites that I took this year (and one I didn’t—the portrait with Bucky was taken by Audrey Hamdan) in this 2009 favorites set on Flickr.

I watched 115 movies in 2009. Here’s a breakdown:
